Nunthorpe Athletic Junior Football
This 2025 season is closing and its been hugely succesful for the club at the heart of the community. The move back to our home at Nunthorpe and Marton Playing Fields Association set the tone for changes at the club. A new home with already better facilities with more planned The season itself is a success with a couple of our teams competiting fr leagues and cup honours. Following this we have been able to replace our u14 team we lost just prior to the season starting and o cap this season off we have relaunched our senior team. We have lots more to come. New Kits, a new club wide taining / way kit, cup finals, sponsorship opportunities and much more.
Saturday Morning Football goes from strength to strength.
During these sessions children will engage with coaches and enjoy excercise, some drills aimed at small development at this early stage, with a fun small sided game at the end to finish. We welcome parents staying to watch and being on hand to support their children through out, holdng drinks ready for your children at relevant times as well as offering encouragement.
The aim of this session is for children to have fun, there is no pressure. Each year we form at least one new under 7 team for the new season which starts each September and many of our players step up from the Saturday morning sessions. Each year if your child is aged 6 on the 31st August they are eligible to participate with under 7 football for the subsequent season. We hope that the children both girls and boys want to take part in organised friendly football and want to get involved with the team. Although there is no pressure, simply come and train on a Saturday morning, enjoy whats on offer and develop both your footballing and social skills.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible down at the ground.
See you all soon !
